Indiana Convention Center & RCA Dome 100 South Capitol, Indianapolis, Indiana, (317) 262-3389 This is home to the Indianapolis COLTS NFL® team, the 57,872-seat domed stadium and attached convention center is distinctive in its design. With that said the current RCA dome is soon to be replaced by a new state-of-the-art 63,000-seat stadium with a cost of somewhere around $500 million. Groundbreaking ceremonies took place in late summer-2005, with a targeted completion date for start of the 2008 NFL season. A much larger and improved convention center will also be part of the city’s expansion plans to easily accommodate meetings, conventions, trade shows, concerts and major sporting events.

Scottish Rite Cathedral 650 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, (800) 489-3579 This Tudor-Gothic style cathedral was judged during its early days as one of the world’s most beautiful buildings. Interestingly enough, I (Greg Hendricks) actually had my Uncle Bob Bonewitz, a brick mason in the early 1900s, lay much of the buildings’ exterior brick wrap. The Gothic Tower rises 212 feet and contains a 54-bell carillon. Banquet, wedding and meeting facilities are available throughout the year.
