Things to Do in Indianapolis & Its’ Surrounding Cities and Towns! Downtown Indianapolis shopping and the suburban north area malls offer both the casual and experienced shoppers a multitude of shopping options with countless choices in between. Some of our favorites include the following shopping complexes.
Shopping Complexes…
Castleton Square Mall 6020 East 82nd Street, Indianapolis, Indiana (317) 849-9993 The indoor mall, located on 82nd Street, just east of Allisonville Road and I-465, features six anchor department stores and more than 130 specialty retail stores; including, Dick’s, Build-A-Bear, Charlotte Russe, Dry Ice and Fossil. You can also enjoy a great food court and there’s even an indoor children’s play area. Around the holidays this area becomes extremely congested; but, what first-class indoor mall doesn’t?
Circle Centre Mall 49 West Maryland Street, Indianapolis, Indiana (317) 681-5615 This indoor mall is a shopping, dining and entertainment complex, reminiscent of a European street market; yet, located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. With anchor stores Nordstrom and Parisian, 100 specialty retail stores, fine dining, food court and convenient inexpensive parking, our Circle Centre is a “must see.” Don’t miss my personal favorite specialty stores; namely, the ‘Brickyard Authentics’ - the official store of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the NFL Indianapolis ‘Colts Pro Shop’ and our beloved NBA Indiana ‘Pacers Home Court II’. You also must experience the fourth floor of the complex “Where Entertainment Hits the Roof” with four nightclubs, nine-screen cinema and Steven Spielberg’s GameWorks Studio.
Clay Terrace Mall US 31 and 146th Street, Carmel, Indiana (317) 818-0725 Clay Terrace is located at the southwest corner of U.S. 31 and 146th Street. Clay Terrace has entrances from the north and south. The northern entrance from 146th is called Clay Terrace Boulevard. When it comes to shopping and fine dining, Clay Terrace offers more choices. If sophistication is what you are after, look no further. Clay Terrace is the 1st Lifestyle Center located in Central Indiana. It is home to an eclectic array of high-end income fashion and food retailers; some of the top in the country and Central Indiana exclusives. Located in Carmel, Indiana, Clay Terrace offers many unique and specialty shops; something everyone is sure to enjoy!
The Fashion Mall 8702 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, Indiana (317) 574-4000 This indoor upscale shopping mall, located at 86th Street and Keystone Avenue, has Parisian, Saks and soon-to-be Crate and Barrel as its’ main anchor retail stores. There are also some 95 other specialty shops and restaurants; including, The Cheesecake Factory, Restoration Hardware, Coach and Pottery Barn Kids.
