The City of Indianapolis’ tremendous growth as a business center and its reputation as an amateur sports and motor sports capitol have caught the attention of cities around the world. A new entrepreneurial attitude has encircled Indianapolis and with it has come superb economic vitality. While relishing its success, Indianapolis has remained relatively unspoiled. The Hoosier capitol consistently ranks as one of the cleanest and safest cities of the nation and its cost of living and unemployment rates remain well below the national average.
The 12th largest city in the nation and the capitol of Indiana, the ‘Circle City’ is the center of America’s heartland. Some 65% of the U.S. population lives within a 700 mile radius of Indianapolis. More interstates converge in Indianapolis than in any other city in the U.S., which makes it one of America’s most accessible cities, aptly named the “Crossroads of America.”

Living in the City of Indianapolis means easy access to the area's 200 plus shops and restaurants, 20 museums, 26 memorials, parks and gardens plus 10 performing arts theaters. It means avoiding the daily commute and typical suburban traffic jams and having time after work for family, friends and pleasure. Indianapolis is attractive to people of all ages and offers a broad range of homes in every price range. Whether your view is overlooking Indianapolis’ Central Canal, high above ground spanning the city skyline or nestled in a historic neighborhood, each home lies in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Experiencing tremendous growth, more than 17,000 people currently call downtown Indianapolis home.

Accepting An Offer >Low Offers
In every real estate market, there are buyers who make offers that are far below the current market value of the property. How should you react if your agent brings you one of these "low ball" offers? Here are some scenarios for the seller.
If your home is priced very close to its fair market value, you can simply reject the offer and be reasonably confident that a better one will appear. However, if you have priced your home higher than other comparable homes in the neighborhood, the offer may not be unreasonable.
Ask your real estate agent for advice about the buyer's overall strategy. Do they really want your house or will they move on to another property if you make a counter offer? Can they afford to pay a higher price? Are there ways to close the gap with a small owner take-back, or with terms that will increase your bottom line? Take a hard look at your asking price and explore all your options before saying "no", especially if you are selling in a buyer's market.
